How to Prevent Bursitis?

The following measures help to prevent bursitis.

  • Try to warm up before exercising or sports or other repetitive movements.
  • Start doing new exercises or sports gradually.
  • Take breaks while doing repetitive tasks.
  • Give cushion effect to “at risk joints” by using elbow or knee pads
  • Stop activities that cause pain.
