Muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma can be quite aggressive, especially when it has spread into the bladder’s muscle walls. The aggressiveness also depends on the cancer’s grade, which reflects how abnormal the cells look under a microscope:
- Low-Grade: Slightly abnormal cells that resemble normal cells.
- High-Grade: Very abnormal cells that look nothing like normal cells and are more likely to spread.
