The primary symptom of Myasthenia Gravis is muscle weakness, which tends to worsen with activity and improve with rest. Commonly affected muscles include:
- Eye Muscles: Leading to drooping eyelids (ptosis) and double vision (diplopia).
- Facial Muscles: Causing difficulty with facial expressions, chewing, swallowing, and speaking.
- Limb Muscles: Resulting in weakness in the arms, hands, legs, and neck.
- Respiratory Muscles: In severe cases, breathing can be compromised, a condition known as myasthenic crisis.
