What Are the Symptoms of Urothelial Carcinoma?

Common symptoms include:

  • Blood in the urine (hematuria): This can be visible or detected in a urinalysis.
  • Frequent or painful urination: These symptoms can also be signs of urinary tract infections, so early-stage bladder cancer might be mistaken for a UTI.
  • Frequent nighttime urination: Usually occurs with other symptoms.
