Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system, leading to muscle weakness, numbness, and sometimes paralysis. It often follows an infection, such as a respiratory or gastrointestinal viral infection.
