Nr-axSpA is a type of arthritis in the spine that causes inflammation. It’s part of a family of diseases called spondyloarthritis. Unlike some forms of arthritis, nr-axSpA doesn’t show clear damage on X-rays, especially in the joints at the base of the spine.
