What’s the Correct Way to Perform CPR?

Begin by placing the heel of one hand on the center of the person’s chest, then place the other hand on top. Interlock your fingers and position yourself directly over the person’s chest. Push down hard and fast, aiming for a rate of about 100 to 120 compressions per minute. Remember to allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions and combine with rescue breaths if trained to do so.
